The client is looking for an individual with strong accounting and FP&A background to fill a role as a Finance/Accounting Learning Professional. Skills and Experience:

A Senior DRM Consultant/Architect has in-depth knowledge with Hyperion  Data Relationship Manager (DRM) solutions and has a track record of successful large data integration or Extract Transform Load (ETL) tools such as DRM, ODI, Informatica or FDM and is capable as the lead for projects.

As an employee of a Consulting firm (Systems Integrator), the Senior Consultant/Architect must be self-sufficient and pro-active in managing their work, while maintaining appropriate communication and escalation to management.  They should be able to work both independently and as part of a team, and be committed to continuously improving operations and profitability.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for creating, documenting, and implementing a scalable solution design and implementation plan.
  • Has a deep understanding of project engagement methodology, core values and attitudes, business ethics, etc.
  • Responsible for fee estimating and “value billing”, developing all standard project status reporting, and coordinating with other service lines, when necessary for resource or expertise sharing.

Job Description

  • A strong track record designing & implementing  successful project life cycles.
  • Experience managing projects with a minimum of three resources 6 months in length.
  • 5 plus years managing projects supporting finance activities, i.e. treasury systems, ERP, EPM, GL or Payroll systems or EPM solutions such as Hyperion, Cognos, BPC/OutlookSoft, others.
  • Managed client side relationship for a team of 5 or more including scope, resources & dollars.
  • Possess the ability to identify, track, monitor and communicate project related issues, scope changes, variances and contingencies that may arise during the project life cycle.
  • Needs to have strong ability to interact with the sales team on sales calls similar to a pre-sales engineer.

EPM Sr. Consultant Job Description: 

A leader in cloud-based (SaaS) financial applications for budgeting, planning, consolidation, reporting, and analytics for enterprise performance management (EPM), is seeking a Sr. Implementation Consultant for product deployment/implementations for new customers. The client is a fast-growing, private company backed by leading venture with offices around the globe.

 

You will serve as part of an implementation team, under the direction of a Solution Architect, assisting clients in transferring their financial plans (budgets, forecasts, reports) from spreadsheets to Cloud based/Hosted solution.  You will be responsible for model design and implementation per the project scope of work and schedule.  The successful candidate must work well in a team environment while being a resourceful, independent self-starter able to work effectively with minimal direction.  5-7 years budgeting and forecasting experience, including expense, personnel, revenue, capital, and balance sheet planning are required.  Advanced Excel skills are essential and experience with enterprise planning systems (Hyperion, Cognos, etc.) or financial management applications is desired.

 

Responsibilities 

  • Implementing budgets, forecasts, and reports
  • Analyzing spreadsheet-based financial models
  • Consulting with clients on budgeting and reporting best practices
  • Be trusted advisor and Subject Matter Expert (SME) to clients
  • Interacting with product development team to troubleshoot client problems and resolve client questions

 

Must Have

  • BS in Accounting or Finance
  • 5-7 Years Accounting or Finance (FP&A) experience
  • Financial reporting and budgeting
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with enterprise planning software and/or financial application software

 

Nice to Have

  • Hands on experience manipulating G/L data
  • Experience with PerformancePoint Server, Management Reporter, Forecaster, FRx, Dynamics
  • 2-3 years consulting experience
